White gold filigree diamond ring. The shank of the ring tested 18 karat while the top of the ring (where the diamonds are set) tested 14 karat. Set in the center is one full cut round brilliant diamond weighing 0.19 carats (electronic scale weight). Above and below the center diamond are two full cut round brilliant diamonds having a combined total weight of 0.18 carats (electronic scale weight). Also set are six full cut round brilliant diamonds having a combined total weight of 0.22 carats (electronic scale weight). Accenting the ring are two triangle cut synthetic blue sapphires having a combined total weight of 0.34 carats (electronic scale weight). These are synthetic sapphires and not glass–they have the SAME physical, chemical and optical properties of the ones made by mother nature, ONLY difference is these were made in a lab. Please note that stones were being synthesized as early as the mid 1800’s. When it came to these accent stones, be they sapphire, ruby or emerald they usually used synthetics because to cut the stones in the more decorative shapes there was a lot of breakage so they did not want to use the natural stone…therefore, the synthetics! Many people will confuse synthetic with simulant! Simulants DO NOT have the same physical, chemical and optical properties of the natural stone–and are usually glass or some other imitation!
All rings come with one free sizing…To size the ring down it is completely free…to size the ring up we will pay for the first size, and you will pay the balance. The good news though, is that we will only charge you what our jeweler charges us…another words it will be much less expensive.
